Speaker, Publisher, and Diversity and Inclusion Specialist Alden Habacon has experimented with career planning for different generational needs and will share strategies he has tried as well lessons he has learned.
Alden Habacon’s Bio:
“He is an accomplished diversity and inclusion specialist and a Director, Intercultural Understanding Strategy Development for the University of British Columbia (UBC). Prior to UBC, Alden was the Manager of Diversity Initiatives for CBC Television, where he has worked on the development and implementation of CBC’s national diversity strategy and some 300 diversity initiatives across Canada. He is a sought-after speaker and consultant in the area of interculturalism in Canada, diversity in media and strategic hiring. Alden is also the founder and Publisher of Schema Magazine (SchemaMag.ca), and the co-founder of the Asian Canadian Journalists Association in Vancouver.”
